Description
In 1969, Pink Floyd was at a crossroads; in a state of creative purgatory. With their founder & original leader Syd Barret slowly losing his sanity to lysergic acid, the pressures of fame, & mental illness, the remaining members of the band more comfortable as a backing band were thrust into the spotlight. Moving away from their more psychedelic & improvised sounds, Roger Waters took the mantle following their fragmented sleeper hit Atom Heart Mother. They often less-spoken of experiment with one side featuring solo works form each band member & the other side featuring the newest collaborative efforts. A band searching for its identity never sounded so good on this cassette tape. Shipping is free!
